Mr. Deepak Killawala started his career as a trainee in a private engineering company manufacturing Control panels after finishing his post graduate diploma in Business Management.

 

However the entrepreneurial spirit in him was very much alive and he started manufacturing and dealing in packaging materials in the name of Box Craft India Pvt .Ltd and expanded it gradually and now has a composite plant at Palghar.

 

He has been a member of Western India Corrugated Box Manufacturer’s Association (WIMCA) and served as President from 2004-2006.

He is now an active member of WICMA R&D centre.

 

He is also a member of FCBM and worked as a Office Bearer for several years and served as President from 1996-97.

 

Awarded the “Harlalka Award” in 1998 for his outstanding and exemplary contribution to the Corrugated Industry, he has always remained an active contributor.

Honoured with LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD IN 2016

 

He has also served as the editor of several publications in the Corrugated box Industry like the FCBM magazine “The Corrugator”

And WICMA’s Technical bulletin “Industry Insight”.

 

Being a Board member of Asian Corrugated Case Association (ACCA), Singapore, he was the founder editor of the ACCA newsletter published from Singapore.

Currently active member and past President of Rotary club of Bombay Seacoast and serving Rotary District 3141 in various key positions
