Peter Theobald is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor and trained computer programmer. He started his career in 1997 selling Financial accounting software in addition to managing his family oil import business. In 1991, he launched RedAlert, India’s first signature less anti-virus software developed by his partner  Mr. Bulsara.  He is responsible for launching brands such as Dr. Solomon’s Anti-virus Toolkit, Sonicwall and Barracuda Networks in India. In 2008, he sold his company IT Secure to Softcell Technologies, with whom he worked for 7 years. Since 2015 he is with Hitachi Systems Microclinic in the role of Security Evangelist.

 

 

Photography has been Peter Theobald’s hobby since 2000. He started with point and shoot cameras. He took it up seriously in 2012 when he bought his first DSLR and started with wildlife photography. He also dabbled in macro photography, street photography, a bit of portraits and then settled down into landscape photography. Gradually his interests changed focus from the technical aspects to the creative aspects of photography. Consequently he has sold off most of his high-end photographic gear  and nowadays mostly shoots with his entry level DSLR in Auto-mode (He lost his point-and-shoot camera), or with his mobile phone. He does not take part in any photographic competitions and his photos are not published in magazines and they do not win any awards, but he enjoys his photography
